MARK LOBBAN - CANDIDATE FOR NGADJURI

Mark Lobban is our candidate for Ngadjuri.

Mark grew up in rural South Australia. His grandparents were Mallee farmers and he was raised in a family retail business, giving him a strong connection to country communities and the importance of hard work and service.

For 30 years Mark has worked in the water and wastewater industry, focusing on water quality, water security and practical infrastructure that supports agriculture and regional growth.

He holds a Master’s qualification in medicinal cannabis and advises licensed cultivation organisations on improving quality and production standards, giving him a strong understanding of the agricultural and regulatory realities of the industry.

Mark is passionate about helping farmers achieve better returns and believes hemp presents a major opportunity for regional communities, but one that is currently held back by unnecessary red tape.

He understands the pressures faced by small businesses and believes country communities deserve fair treatment, reliable health services and proper access to essential services.

Mark is also a Rotarian, veteran cricketer, ICC accredited umpire and has been a musician, songwriter and music events coordinator since 1985, bringing people together through community events and local activities.
